Graham I tried to leave a long message and at the end realised that I have to sign up first. Anyway the gist of my response was that the Sunday Times articles yesterday 9th March 2008 confirmed the claims I amde at Bucks Council meeting that the figures were not reliably based. Evidence is that South Bucks monitoring of emissions and Slough monitoring information from Pippins School were not used to form a view of the likley levels in the future. Only Hillingdon data was used from alongside the airport not under flight path alongside the M4 and M25. Also Bucks has information showing a higher incidence of absences from school in South Bucks Infant and Junior schools due to respiratory ailments. Alan Oxley Bucks County Councillor
